Why he might be annoying
He was incredibly arrogant/cocky/egotistical.
He wore loud flashy outfits in the ring including bejeweled and fringed boxing robes, trunks and shoes.
He usually wore a goofy looking curly lock on his forehead.
He became a father at sixteen.
He would fight dirty on occasion.
He referred to blacks using the N-word during an interview on at least one occasion.
He wasn't a particularly hard hitter and lacked basic boxing skills.
He didn't take his career seriously and much preferred chasing skirts and partying at nightclubs to training.
Why he might not be annoying
He had the fastest hands in boxing history, his hand speed being so incredible that opponents and viewers sometimes literally didn't see his punches until they landed.
He sent Sugar Ray Leonard into permanent retirement (pictured).
His winning a title in six different weight divisions was a record.
He supported his out of wedlock children financially and encouraged and supported his oldest son's, Hector Camacho Jr.'s, own successful boxing career.
He was undisputedly one of the greatest pound for pound fighters of all time.
He was shot in the face and in the neck while sitting in a car; he died four days later from the injuries he sustained.
