The Resume

    (September 10, 1949- )
Known as Magnificent Muraco and Don 'The Rock' Muraco
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion and ECW Heavyweight Champion
Wrestled for the WWE, the NWA, ECW, AWA and Stampede Wrestling
    Commissioner of Hawaii Championship Wrestling

Why he might be annoying:

He had a very gravely voice.
The fans would yell, 'BEACH BUM' whenever he wrestled because he was from Hawaii.
He did skits with Mr. Fuji called 'Fuji Vice' that featured them doing some awful acting.
His win over Jimmy Snuka in a steel cage was bizarre because Snuka nailed him with a head butt, which sent Muraco falling backwards and right through the cage door to the floor, thus making him the winner of the match and the fans hated the outcome.
He turned face in the late 80's and even with Superstar Billy Graham as his manager, he couldn't get the fans behind him.
When he turned face, it was sudden with no real reason was given, it just happened, which confused a lot of people.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was nicknamed 'The Rock' way before Duane Johnson called himself that.
On Duane Johnson using 'The Rock' and making millions off it, he holds no grudges, saying, 'He's a good kid. I've known him since he was a baby. I'm proud of him.'
While working for the AWA, he trained a group of wrestlers, one of whom was Ric Flair.
He was the recipient of Jimmy Snuka's legendary leap off the top of a steel cage in Madison Square Garden.
The match is one of the most famous in wrestling history and many wrestlers including Mick Foley point to the match as an inspiration to get into wrestling.
He once wrestled Bob Backlund in Maryland for an hour, then that same day went to Philadelphia and wrestled a completely different match for another hour.
Many consider him to be the preeminent heel of the 80's and he's ranked #20 in Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
WWE named him one of the 50 greatest wrestlers in the history of the company.
