Admittedly, he is one of the worst singers, but he continued to perform his own compositions.
He made Dionne Warwick famous, allowing her to get involved with the Psychic Network.
He divorced Paula Stewart after three years, then married and divorced actress Angie Dickinson, and then married and divorced singer, Carole Bayer Sager.
His father's name is Bert, his is Burt (big difference).
He slipped, fell and broke his shoulder in an Indianapolis theater, citing an uneven floor he is suing for $15,000,000 (March 19, 2001).

He composed tons of pop hits (easy listening).
