Why Samsung might be annoying:

    Their mobile phone sales were sluggish in the early 1990s.
    In 2011, rival Apple Inc. sued the company over the design of the Galaxy smartphone.
    At least 26 employees from one of their manufacturing plants were diagnosed with blood cancer.
    The European Commission fined them for price fixing their television sets.
    In 2016, they abruptly stopped production of their just released Galaxy Note 7 smartphone after reports of batteries heating up and exploding.

Why Samsung might not be annoying:

    You or your home is most likely to have at least one of their products.
    Their products have enabled middle class families to connect and communicate with people worldwide or entertain themselves via media devices.
    As of 2017, they are the leading seller of smartphones (even best rival Apple's iPhones).
    The company is listed in Greenpeace's Guide to Greener Electronics.
    They have sponsored various sporting events including The Olympic Games.
