Vocalist
    (November 30, 1949-January 14, 1995)
Birth name was Constance Henrietta Mierzwiak
Best known for her co-lead singing with Jim 'Dandy' Mangrum on the Black Oak Arkansas song 'Jim Dandy To The Rescue'
Died of cancer at age 45
She changed her name three times, from Constance Mierzwiak to Connie Little to Ruby Jones to Ruby Starr.
She changed bands and band names even more often, from Connie & the Blu-Beats to the Downtowners to the Blue Grange Ramblers to the Ruby Jones Band to Grey Star to Henrietta Kahn.
All these incarnations, yet she is primarily known as the 'Go Jim Dandy' girl.
Instead of staying with Black Oak Arkansas, she continued to reinvent herself into obscurity.
She started her career at age nine and was singing at gigs until her illness made it impossible.
She had a booming, energetic voice.
She was discovered by Mangrum in an Indiana club and helped Black Oak Arkansas get 'Jim Dandy' onto the Billboard Singles chart (their only Top 40 hit).
Besides Black Oak Arkansas, she opened for such '70s acts as Black Sabbath, Edgar Winter and Blackfoot.
