They began as a singing group.
A fifth brother, Gummo, never appeared on film.
Their first attempt at the movies, ‘Humor Risk,’ was so bad that it was never released.
Zeppo eventually left the group when he was only given straight romantic roles.
Their movies are often so zany that any notion of plot is tossed out the window.
Their MGM films often contain long, non-humorous musical sequences.
Years after their ‘retirement,’ they made several films to support Chico’s gambling habit.
Their plans to do a TV series reunion, ‘The Deputy Seraph,’ never got off the ground.

The Broadway play 'Minnie's Boys' was the story of their lives.
They gave a funnier meaning to Marxism.
They satirized war and the upper class.
Their improvisation skills were legendary.
They became a comedy team after one night where Groucho threw insults at a rude audience.
Their biggest flop, ‘Duck Soup,’ later became a favorite among the '60s anti-war generation.
Winston Churchill was viewing ‘Duck Soup’ when Rudolf Hess parachuted into England.
They are among the most celebrated comedic teams of all time.
