    He helped write one the most beloved children's book series of all-time.
    He was robbed and murdered at the age of 76. His bloody body was found with the trash (February 7, 2006.)
    He received a major in drama from Syracuse University.
    He wrote and directed more than 100 episodes of the Curious George animated show.
    He enjoyed working with the Reys and called it the highlight of his life.
    In his retirement he created the company 'Reading with Gramps' and toured elementary schools, book stores and other events to read books to children.
