    He was the least known DiMaggio brother.
    After he was traded to the New York Yankees, he ended up on a minor league team instead of being on Joe's team.
    He was not a very good batter as he frequently struck out.
    Prior to the 1950s, he held the major league record for times being struck out in a season (134).
    He ended his playing career as a minor leaguer.

    He was the oldest of the three DiMaggio brothers.
    He excelled in base running and fielding.
    He worked at a shipyard in California during World War II.
    In his 3 at-bats during his last All Star appearance, he hit a double, triple and a home run.
    During his first season in Philadelphia, he hit four grand slams.
    He appeared in 157 games during the 1943 season.
    He was the NL leader for power speed twice (1941 and 1943).
    He was the only DiMaggio brother to play in the NL.
