Why he might be annoying:

Yet another group incorporating Jesus in their name (à la Jesus and Mary Chain, Jesus Twins, Jesus Lizard, Liquid Jesus, etc).
Only one album, 1991's 'Doubt,' contained Top 40 material.
Their follow-up album, 1993's 'Perverse,' was made almost exclusively via computer, and tanked.
Stewie Griffin made a disparaging remark about their music on 'Family Guy.'

Why he might not be annoying:

They were part of an early '90s movement that made techno music more assessable to pop audiences.
'Right Here, Right Now' was a Top 5 hit on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in both the U.S. and the U.K
It also spent five weeks at #1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
They won MTV's 'Best New Artist in a Video' award in 1991.
