Why he might be annoying:

He was a member of Lopevi’s Fat Five even though he was in great shape physically.
He helped the older less-fit men vote out the stronger younger members of their tribe.
His artificial leg actually caused him to lose a critical immunity challenge and, as a result, he was voted out at the subsequent tribal council.
He was viewed as a threat by some members who feared he would win sympathy votes to advance in the game.

Why he might not be annoying:

He lost his leg due to cancer 20 months before he became a contestant on Survivor.
Nine months after losing his leg, he ran a triathalon.
He was a very solid physical player throughout the game.
He never played the ‘I’m disabled’ card to get ahead of the game.
Despite his tough-guy appearance, he is a soft-spoken, easy-going person with a sense of humor.
He teaches third-grade students.
He was heavily favored to win the game.
