Sports Executive

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He looks too geeky to be a commissioner of a professional sports league.
Some sports analysts think he continued David Stern's trend of favoring large market teams for the draft and merchandise sales.
He brokered the deal that allowed companies to advertise their products on NBA team uniforms.
He pulled the NBA All-Star Weekend out of Charlotte months before the 2016-17 season started, to protest North Carolina's controversial 'bathroom bill' law.
He oversaw a product that became watered down as a result of a lack of parity amongst the league.
Under his tenure, the NBA Finals featured the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers for three consecutive seasons (2015-17).

Why he might not be annoying:

He grew up a fan of the New York Knicks.
He served as David Stern's deputy commissioner for eight years before being appointed as Commissioner.
He worked as a litigation lawyer, prior to working in the NBA.
He took a hardline stance against Donald Sterling, by imposing a lifetime ban after the latter made derogatory and bigoted comments towards African-Americans.
He is in favor of abolishing the 'one and done' rule.
