Why N.O.W. might be annoying:

They want more rights than men have.
They are sexists fighting sexism.
They overuse the phrase, 'glass ceiling.'
Membership dues are anywhere from $35 to $1000.
They were curiously silent about Bill Clinton's womanizing.
They support Affirmative Action.
They want to give women the empowerment and knowledge to choose their own path in life, but look down on those that CHOOSE to take on traditional roles.
Some militant members do not shave their armpits and legs as an act of defiance.
They vehemently oppose the Republican Party.
Ironically, the Republican Party was instrumental in passing the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote.
They are probably offended that a male wrote this resume.

Why N.O.W. might not be annoying:

It started out as a feminist and women's rights group, and has since taken stances on racism and homophobia.
They support a ban on silicone breast implants.
They work to end domestic violence.
One of their main issues is equal pay for equal work.
They allow men to become members (great way for a guy to get laid).
They are pro-choice.
