Why she might be annoying:

She spoiled her children.
She romanced Alois while his second wife was dying of tuberculosis.
She and Alois were second cousins over 20 years apart.
She apparently didn't help Adolf's school grades improve.
Her death from cancer may have spooked Adolf into vegetarianism.
One of her sons just happened to become one of the greatest mass murderers in history.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was a kind and loving mother.
Legend says that she almost aborted Adolf, though there's no real evidence of this.
Only two of her six children survived into adulthood.
She was virtually ignored by her husband.
She died a slow, painful death from breast cancer.
Her death absolutely devastated a teenaged Adolf, who carried her picture with him until his death.
She was frequently beaten by her husband.
