    (March 9, 1945- )
    Raised in Wichita, Kansas
Strangled to Death at least 10 people in the Wichita, Kansas area
Married to Paula Dietz (May 22, 1971)
    Fathered a son and daughter
    Worked for ADT security
    BTK murderer
Sentenced to 10 consecutive life sentences (August 18, 2005)
He allegedly killed a married couple in their 30's, their two children, and six more women over a period of three decades.
He nicknamed himself 'BTK,' which stands for 'Bind, Torture, Kill.'
He sent letters to the media boasting of his crimes.
After over 20 years of silence, he sent a new letter with pictures of a dead body and a drivers license of the victim and signed it 'Bill Thomas Killman' (BTK).
In an earlier letter he wrote 'How many do I have to kill before I get my name in the paper or some national attention?'
Because Kansas did not have the death penalty until 1994, he cannot be executed for the crimes he committed prior to that year.
He was President of Park City Christ Lutheran Church.
In one of his letters to police and the media, he wrote a sick and disgusting parody of the bluegrass song 'Oh Death' that described how he killed one of his victims.
He was a Zodiac copycat killer.
    His grammar was poor.
His decision to end his silence ultimately led to his capture, thanks to new evidence in DNA technology.
Either his daughter turned him in or he was seen on a Home Depot surveillance camera or he was technologically traced his computer's identity from a CD Rom he sent the cops.
    After being captured, he confessed.
He was a Boy Scout Leader.
He served in the USAF during the War in Vietnam.
