American fighting for the Taliban, and a possible al-Qaeda member.

Why he might be annoying:

He is an educated-sounding, apparently middle-class American who converted to Islam and went to Afghanistan six months ago to help the Taliban build a 'true Islamic state.'
He surrendered to the Northern Alliance Forces on the Saturday morning after a vicious prison uprising near Mazar-e Sharif. During the uprising Walker escaped, delaying the world's discovery of an American Taliban but only temporarily. He has been taken into custody by U.S. Special Forces soldiers, and held captive since then.
He refused to answer questions that were asked by CIA agent John Spann, Walker just sat on the ground and did not move.
He might have had knowledge of the September 11 attacks before they happened.

Why he might not be annoying:

He will be sent to court and tried for treason, and hopefully convicted.
He is an American citizen.
He was fighting for what he believed in.
