Two-time All-Star (Both the first game and second game in 1961)

His nickname was 'Flakey.'
He was never a member of a World Series winning team.
He was the AL leader for errors committed as a center fielder with 7 (1962).
He was the final regular season batter to be struck out by Sandy Koufax.
His career as a minor league manager was a disappointment.
