Premise: Two brothers operate an airline company 'Sandpiper Air' from 'Tom Nevers Field' in Nantucket, Massachusetts
In real life 'Tom Nevers Field' is actually a sports complex in Nantucket.
The airport used for exterior shots is actually Nantucket Memorial Airport.
Since the show was created by David Angell, there were numerous 'Cheers' and 'Frasier' crossovers.
The show depended on 'very special episodes' in later seasons.
Roy referred to Sandpiper Air as 'one lemonade stand of a business.'
Thomas Haden Church left the series after season six to star in the failed sitcom 'Ned and Stacey.'
The show's theme is a variation of 'Sonata in A Major' by Franz Schubert.
It introduced us to Tim Daly, Thomas Haden Church, and Tony Shalhoub.
Kelsey Grammer won an Emmy for making a guest appearance as Dr. Frasier Crane in this show.
As a result, Grammer became the first person to win an Emmy for playing the same character on three comedy series.
