Why Vancouver Millionaires might be annoying:

Some hockey fans who are unaware of the history of hockey wrongfully assume they are part of the Canucks franchise history.
Modern Vancouverites were unaware of their existence prior to 2010.
They wore maroon and cream colored uniforms.
Despite being a successful franchise in the PCHA, they were of the franchises not considered for the NHL.
They failed to repeat the same degree of success in the WCHL, and were contracted along with the rest of the league after their second season.

Why Vancouver Millionaires might not be annoying:

They were founded by the legendary hockey family, the Patrick's.
They were one of the PCHA's successful franchises.
They brought the first Stanley Cup championship to Vancouver (which is something the Canucks have yet to do).
Their logo, history and intellectual properties were purchased by the Canucks as a way to pay homage to the city's predecessor franchise.
Their home arena, Denman Arena was considered one of the first artificial ice surfaces in the world at the time of its opening.
