Why they might be annoying:

The AFL fined them $10,000 for handing cowbells out to the crowd. The league thought it was an unfair sound advantage for the home team.
In the 2005 playoffs, they lost to Colorado by one touchdown despite having 6 goal line opportunities.
They have an extremely large logo that covers most of their helmet.
There was no animal called a sabercat. It's just a more appealing name for a saber-toothed tiger.

Why they might not be annoying:

They have a great rivalry with the Arizona Rattlers.
They beat their rivals, Arizona to win the Arena Bowl in 2002 and again in 2004.
They draw in some of the biggest crowds in the AFL, and have never had less than 10,000 in attendance.
They made the playoffs in their first year of existence.
They only had a losing record twice in their first 12 years.
