Why they might be annoying:

Their attire, consisting of tights, face masks and mini-dresses, is rather gaudy.
In a protest against Dmitry Medvedev, a heavily pregnant Ms. Tolokonnikova went into a museum and had group sex with members of her other band Voina. She claimed her dad was disappointed he didn't get an invite to such unbridled action.
On February 21, 2012, the ladies entered Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and performed a song asking the Virgin Mary to 'drive Putin away.'
After voicing his support, chess champ Garry Kasparov was questioned by police.

Why they might not be annoying:

The purpose for the group? 'What we have in common is impudence, politically loaded lyrics, the importance of feminist discourse and a non-standard female image'.
They were declared 'prisoners of conscience' by Amnesty International.
Musicians such as Madonna, Paul McCartney, and Sting spoke out against the lengthy detainment received by the women.
During sentencing, the judge cited 'complete lack of respect' as a reason for them being thrown in jail.
During the Sochi Winter Olympic,s they were arrested, pushed around by a man in a chicken costume and whipped by Cossacks. (February 2014)
