Why he might be annoying:

    He has tattoos on his arms.
    Out of the ring, he wore the same tacky outfits and sunglasses and used the same tired one-liners that he used in the ring.
    His time as a commentator was short-lived do to his poor performance.
    After his managerial and announcing career failed, he decided to be a wrestler at the age of 35.
    His wife, Kimberly Page, was his manager in WCW and she was known as The Diamond Doll.
    His movie, 'Ready To Rumble,' flopped.
    He wrestled in matches with David Arquette and Jay Leno, both of which were trashed by fans.
    He shocked fans by revealing himself as the stalker of The Undertaker's wife, but the feud wasn't interesting to many.
    After his feud with The Undertaker, he became a motivational speaker and kept flashing a gigantic smile, finishing every sentence with: 'And that's, A GOOD THING.'
    He calls his fans 'Cutters,' in reference to his finisher, The Diamond Cutter.
    He was illiterate until he was in his thirtes.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He overcame the odds and his old age by becoming a huge star and a three-time WCW Heavyweight Champion.
    To get into the business, he was willing to pay for his own airfare, along with his two 'diamond girls' and worked for free.
    He and his wife do a lot of charity work.
    He urges kids who want to be wrestlers to get a college education before getting into wrestling.
    When he became a good guy in WCW, he ditched the big rings and cigars and became a 'blue collar wrestler,' to more relate to the fans.
    His feud with Randy Savage was named Feud of the Year in PWI in 1997.
    While other wrestlers don't know when to retire, he knew he had enough and called it quits due to a knee injury.
