She made it to the final three despite being a poor physical player.
When the teams merged, she stated that she missed Twila ‘deep down in places [she couldn’t] even talk about.’
She is divorced.
While voting against Mia, she said ‘Good luck in finding a husband who will put up with you.’
She went through bankruptcy.
She is very hippie-like in her appearance.

Why she might not be annoying:

Besides Ami, she is the second openly lesbian contestant to play the game.
Her relationship with her life partner Annie has lasted over a quarter of a century.
She was chosen among her Yasur tribemates as the chief.
She came up with the final name for the new tribe Alinta.
Votes against her did not show up until late into the game.
She has an artificial knee.
In 2002, she helped carry the Olympic torch.
She suffered advanced melanoma several years prior to the game and was not expected to live.
She is an animal lover who owns several farm and domestic pets (dogs, cats, horses, llamas, squirrels).
Her most proud accomplishment is being able to live a very full life while sticking with her bohemian lifestyle.
She is the co-founder of The Magical Child Foundation.
She goes by the title ‘Doctor’ because she obtained both a master's and a doctorate degree in Education from the University of Georgia.
