Producer

The Resume

    (May 20, 1884-December 25, 1949)
    Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Producer of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons
Head of Warner Brothers' animation division (1934-44)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was a notorious penny-pincher.
He shut down the studio twice when the animators tried to organize a union (1941,42)
He boycotted the Academy Awards to protest what he claimed was preferential treatment for Walt Disney (1938).
After he sold his production company for $700,000, he invited his directors to his mansion for dinner for the first and last time.

Why he might not be annoying:

When Warner Brothers ran into financial troubles while making 'The Jazz Singer' (1927), he loaned them the money to finish.
He took a hands-off approach, giving his animators artistic freedom.
He did not complain when Mel Blanc based Daffy Duck's voice on his lisp.
