Sour Apple Award
Presented by the Hollywood Women’s Press Club, originally to stars who were rude or difficult to interview. Later given to people who, in the Club’s opinion, made the entertainment industry look bad. Separate male and female awards through 1966. Last given in 2001. Not awarded in 1955-59, 1967-69, 1971-72, 1975, 1977, 1990, 1992-94, 1999. Missing: ‘Pornographic Movie Makers’ (1976)
