    He was a journeyman player.
    He was banned from joining the MLBPA as a result of being a replacement player during 1995 spring training.
    He spent the majority of his career playing for all five teams in the National League West division.
    During the 2003 season, He had an ERA of 14.00 with the Padres.
    He was a reliable reliever during his stint with the Giants.
    His brother-in-law is former NL Rookie of the Year Todd Hollandsworth.
    He attended Illinois State University.
