Why he might be annoying:

His neighbor filed for a restraining order, claiming he screamed at her for four hours about her dog's barking and threatened to kill the dog (2017).
His death was not made public until two months after it happened.
The coroner listed chronic alcoholism as a contributing factor to his death.

Why he might not be annoying:

While he admitted to repeatedly yelling at his neighbor about her dog barking, he denied threatening to kill the dog. In addition, the dog's barking attracted enough complaints for animal control to hold a hearing about it.
He frequently collaborated with fellow Groundlings alumni Paul 'Pee-Wee Herman' Reubens and Cassandra 'Elvira' Peterson.
He was nominated for five Daytime Emmys for writing and directing episodes of 'Pee-Wee's Playhouse.'
He worked with Walt Disney Imagineering to develop Lucky the Dinosaur, the first free-roaming audio-animatronic figure in a Disney park (2005).
His cremation urn is a replica of Jambi's jeweled box.
