    Roman general and politician
    Ally, general, and later son-in-law of Octavian, who later became known as Caesar Augustus
    Full name: Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa

Why he might be annoying:

    He married three times and divorced twice, all for political reasons.
    He did most of Octavian/Augustus' fighting for him.
    He liked to study geography.
    He was the grandfather of Caligula and the great-grandfather of Nero.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was one of the greatest military leaders of all time and his victory at Actium gave Octavian a decisive victory over Antony and Cleopatra. For this he received a special 'Naval Crown' from the Roman Senate which was created for his honor only and was never awarded again.
    He created the great public works projects that enabled Augustus to boast about entering a Rome of brick and leaving one made of marble.
    He died young.
    He was honest and loyal and managed to stay alive in the pits of Roman political intrigue.
