It was cancelled in 2004 to make way for a short-lived TV series, 'Center of the Universe.'
Its 6th season had 13 episodes despite having the season originally planned for 22 episodes.
In the series finale, the Hughes' own house got destroyed by an earthquake and the family had to go to the Warners wondering if the guest house is vacant.
Why Yes, Dear might not be annoying
It was brought back in 2005 following the cancellation of 'Center of the Universe.'
It had great ratings during its first three seasons.
It was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series (2003).
Bill Janovitz of the alternate rock band Buffalo Tom, wrote and performed the show's theme.
It had several guest stars such as Bret Michaels, Bob Barker, Chuck Norris, Christopher Titus, Pat Morita, Betty White, Dan Castellaneta and Steve Burns.
