His nickname is ‘Jake the Snake.’
He is injury-prone.
He had a porn-star style moustache for a few months.
Over 4,000 people signed a petition for Jake to bring back his moustache.
He was fined $5,000 in 2004 for flipping off a cameraman.
He was involved in a feud with a Denver newspaper's gossip columnist.

He was good friends with Pat Tillman.
The NFL fined him for ‘uniform violation,’ because he continued to have a commemorative #40 on his helmet, for his late friend, Pat.
He is good at improvising, and can make big plays on the run.
He surrendered the lowest sack total of any quarterback from 2002-2003.
He led one of the great comeback drives in college football history in the 1997 Rose Bowl against Ohio State. Many say the comeback would have been the greatest drive in NCAA history, if Ohio State didn’t come back to win the game.
