Why she might be annoying:

Her handle sounds like the surface for a classic vinyl , though she actually took it from a nickname given her by a camp counselor (gee, original).
That ship tattoo all over her chest!
Her mother died before finding out about her sexual orientation.
She described her less-than-a-year-association with Island Records as ‘taking a little tomboy and putting her in a fucking dress!’
In addition to writing for Rihanna and the Backstreet Boys, one of her songs was picked up by… Heidi Montag???!!!

Why she might not be annoying:

In contrast to her ‘androgynous’ look, she has a clear feminine, albeit deep, singing voice (‘I’m all about contradiction’).
Particularly regarding her swagger (style of physical movement), she drew comparisons to Bob Dylan.
She compares her coif to Roger Daltrey.
She has written for Cher, Karmin, Christina Aguilera, and The Veronicas.
‘I know I’m happy even if I play to a room of 50 people. Mostly, I just want to sing my ass off.’
