    He has the cheesiest stage name this side of Tiny Tim.
    His first band was called the Urchin Skiffle Band.
    He was involved in a bar fight with Alan Lake (husband of Diana Dors) and stabbed the pub's owner.
    He was sentenced to two years for the crime (1972-74).
    After prison he moved to Saudi Arabia, then wanted to open his own pub.
    Realizing opening a pub in Saudi Arabia wouldn't be a smart business move, he reloctaed to Spain.
    He had his first marriage dissolved in 1985.

    He is good friends with Kinks frontman Ray Davies, who wrote and produced a song for him and got his brother Dave to lay down guitar tracks.
    While 'Little Arrows' hit #18 on the U.S. pop chart, it soared to #2 on the U.K. pop chart in 1968.
    The song hit #1 on 18 other country's charts and sold over four million units.
    Suprisingly, his pop tune hit #11 on the U.S. country chart and he managed to place two more songs on the country charts.
    He is a veteran of the London theatre circuit.
    He is a regular contributor/columnist for the Euro Weekly News, an English newspaper published in Spain.
