He is divorced.
The tabloids reported that he allegedly got widowed rock singer Courtney Love pregnant after they had a brief romantic fling.
The news came just one month after he divorced his second wife.
Love also alleged that Coogan aided with friend Owen Wilson's attempted suicide by supplying him with hard drugs. Coogan denied Love's reports.

He has a cult following in Britain.
He was listed in the UK's 'Observer' as one of the 50 funniest acts in comedy (2003).
He has won many British Comedy Awards and BAFTAs.
He established his own production company called Baby Cow Productions in 1999.
