    (1852-March 18, 1893)
Founder of Heineken (December 16, 1863)
He bought the biggest brewery in Amsterdam, De Hooiberg (The Haystack), and renamed it to the self absorbed title, Heineken and Co.
He had some serious mutton chops on his face.
His heir, Alfred Heineken, was kidnapped just after his 60th birthday, and eventually freed by the police (November 9-30, 1983).
His green bottles are very undesirable for recycling.
His original brewery still stands as a museum, called the Heineken Experience.
Heineken has become the world's second largest brewer and produces over 26 million gallons of beer annually.
Heineken Beer is one of the finest quality pilsners that is distributed throughout the world.
