Despite having the odds stacked against him, he returned to the Bruins lineup from his first concussion and scored the overtime winner in game 1 of the Eastern Semi-Final (2010).
Despite missing the entire 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a serious concussion, the Bruins successfully petitioned the NHL to engrave his name on the Stanley Cup.
