He dumped his wife of 33 years when he became powerful in politics.
His ex-wife told the press that he let his family down.
All of his kids have a name beginning with the letter J.
He spent tens of millions of dollars on his election campaigns.
He spent a record $62,802,999 of his own money in his campaign to be a New Jersey Senator (2001).
His campaign ads plaster the airwaves.
He won his seat as Governor primarily by attacking George W. Bush instead of his opponent.
During his term in office, he was the only member of the U.S. Senate with a beard.
He was also the only governor with a beard.
He resigned as CEO from MF Global just days after company filed for bankruptcy protection and investigation began into hundreds of millions of dollars worth of missing customer funds (November 4, 2011).

Why he might not be annoying:

He voted against the Iraqi War Resolution.
He supports liberal causes.
He has a rather expensive media market to compete in, inflating what he must spend to win.
He supplies his mistresses with condos and thousands of dollars.
