Why he might be annoying
His real middle name is a mouthful to spell.
He produced commercials for Ford Motor Company.
When he and Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, initially looked at the finished product of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas,' Melendez was skeptical because of the crude animation and preachy message.
Many people may only recognize him for his gibberish- sounds he gives for Snoopy.
Why he might not be annoying
Before the Peanuts television and film anthology, he did work on various Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons.
He was a faculty member at University of Southern California.
He founded his own production company in the basement of his home.
