Why Weeds might be annoying:

    It mixes drama with dark comedy and is usually classified as a dramedy.
    Variety said it delivers smiles but only occasional laughs out loud.
    The book 'Rejuvenile' is mentioned often on the show, its author is Christopher Noxon the husband of series creator Jenji Kohan.
    It gave Mary-Kate Olsen her first opportunity to perform solo without her twin sister Ashley.
    The series justifies itself when Nancy says: 'I'm not a dealer, I'm a mother who happens to distribute illegal product.'
    Mary-Louise Parker 2005 Golden Globe as Best TV Actress is somewhat tainted. The other four nominees were all from Desperate Housewives which split their vote.
