    He and Bert Cole had a fine and a ten game suspension for beginning one of baseball history's infamous brawls in a game against the Detroit Tigers (1924).
    He let a flyball to drop in the 4th inning of game 7 of the 1926 World Series as the Yankees went on to lose the series to the St. Louis Cardinals.
    He had the most World Series career strikeouts as a right-handed batter (24) for 3 decades prior to Hank Bauer and Gil McDougald breaking it in 1958.
