Why she might be annoying:

    Her wedding was a media event.
    She changed out the '-y' in her name with an '-i' as an act of rebellion from her parents.
    A more constructive act might have been to change the middle 'B' in her name (she shares her dad's initials).
    When she converted to Catholicism, she underwent a controversial 'second baptism,' drawing protests from Episcopalian leaders.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She is gracious and charming during interviews.
    She learnt that her father had been sworn in as President after JFK's assassination when Secret Service agents showed up at her school during Spanish class.
    She had to witness her father subjected to vicious scrutiny from the media and anti-Vietnam protesters ('Hey, hey, LBJ, how many kids did you kill today!')
    Her wedding television broadcast drew 55 million viewers and was featured on the August 19, 1966, cover of Life magazine.
    She was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder that affects the nervous system (2010).
    She is an active fundraiser for a host of charitable causes; most notably the American Heart Association and the Center for Battered Women.
