Why she might be annoying:

She said, ‘I never really decided to be an actress. Then I realized that acting is the only thing I really knew.’
She was married and divorced three times.
She was engaged to Richard Chamberlain, but called it off, saying ‘There really wasn’t a romance.’ (Can’t imagine why.)
She refused to appear in a soap ad because the soap was made with animal fats and she was a vegetarian. (‘I was extremely idealistic.’)

Why she might not be annoying:

She inherited her parents’ good looks.
Her father died when she was five.
She said that when she learned that Tyrone Power was bisexual, ‘It probably made my father seem more human.’
She earned a brown belt in judo.
She largely retired from acting to raise her children. (‘I want to give them what I didn’t have. My mother definitely wasn’t conventional.’)
