    At 24, she became famous for portraying a high school student in 'Veronica Mars.'
    One of her two dogs is named 'Mr. Shakes.'
    As a child, she loved the musical 'Annie' so much the students called her 'Annie Bell.'
    She insisted her parents call her 'Smurfette.'
    Her debut role as Becky Thatcher in 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' was short lived on Broadway (2001).
    Outside of 'Veronica Mars,' her acting career isn't much.
    Warner Brothers offical Veronica Mars site misspells her name as Kristin.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She studied musical theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
    She attended Catholic High School in Michigan.
    Her show 'Veronica Mars' is one of the few new successful shows of the 2004 TV season.
    She said 'I loved Veronica (Mars) right off the bat. She was so strong and I think it is so important because they're are so few shows that portray women, especially young women as being strong and being able to stand up for themselves.'
