Why he might be annoying:

By association, he is to blame for the Steve Moore/Todd Bertuzzi incident, thanks to a run-in he had with Steve Moore a month before, which is what caused the retaliation.
It took him 7 seasons to be voted into an All Star game.

Why he might not be annoying:

He comes from the same town as Peter Forsberg.
He received a vicious check from Steve Moore which lead to him receiving a concussion and missing three games.
He was one of the first Canucks to apologize for Todd Bertuzzi's actions against Steve Moore.
Prior to the unfortunate incident, both he and Todd made for one of the NHL's best one-two combo's.
His point totals have increased as he's gotten older.
He is the Canucks' team Captain.
His favorite place to play away from Vancouver is Miami.
