Why they might be annoying:

Their bio says their sound is partly inspired by American rock, but lists British bands The Beatles and Rolling Stones as major influences.
One critic described the premature death anthem, 'If I Die Young,' as 'exceedingly dark.'
'If I Die Young' regained popularity nearly a year after its release when Lauren Alaina performed it on 'American Idol.'
Kimberly claimed that Tom Petty's music would be considered country if it had come out in the 2010s instead of 1970s.

Why they might not be annoying:

They won the ACM Award for Top New Duo or Group (2010).
'If I Die Young' became a crossover top 20 pop hit and sold more than 2 million digital downloads.
The three siblings play a combined total of six different instruments.
They write most of their own music.
