    Film stars who didn't support the Nazis were blacklisted, and her career was very successful.
    Her luxury villa was destroyed in an air raid.
    After World War II she was shunned in her native Sweden because of her association with Germany.
    She was merely an entertainer in Germany and was never involved with Nazi policies.
    She had a deep sultry voice.
