Why they might be annoying:

Their first record was accidentally credited to the Small Faces in the US.
The band was overshadowed by Stewart's concurrent solo career.
Their live record featured six songs from Stewart's albums and only three from earlier Faces albums.
Stewart called 'Ooh La La' a 'stinking rotten album.'
Wood noted, 'We were banned from so many hotels that we had to check in as Fleetwood Mac lots of times.'

Why they might not be annoying:

After the band broke up, Wood joined the Rolling Stones and Jones joined the Who.
Lane suffered multiple sclerosis and organized a series of all-star benefit concerts to raise money for MS research.
They considered reuniting but decided not to when it was clear Lane would be unable to perform.
Stewart said, 'Ron Wood and I may have been the glamour boys up front, but Ronnie Lane was the heart of the Faces.'
'Ooh La La' was played in the ending scene of the movie 'Rushmore' (1998).
