    Drafted 262nd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft
    Defenseman/forward for the Montreal Canadiens (2005-08), New York Islanders (2008-13) and the Philadelphia Flyers

Why he might be annoying:

    He wasn't drafted by an NHL team until the age of 26.
    He didn't make his NHL debut until the age of 28.
    He often was shuffled between the bottom six forwards and bottom defensive pairings in Montreal.
    Despite establishing himself in Montreal, the team allowed him to leave the team as an unrestricted free agent.
    He missed the entire 2010-11 season after injuring his shoulder in a scrimmage.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is one of few swingmen in the NHL, who is capable of playing both forward and defense.
    He established himself as a top four defenseman upon signing with the Islanders.
    He became the second highest paid Swiss athlete behind Roger Federer, upon signing with the Islanders.
    He became the second defenseman in the post-NHL lockout era to lead his team in scoring (2008-09).
    He is the first native of Switzerland to serve as team captain for an NHL team.
