Why he might be annoying:

    He voted against increasing the minimum wage.
    He tried to link abortion to breast cancer.
    He said that the election of Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison 'was not what was envisioned by the founding fathers.'
    Following the first Hindu prayer offered before a session of the US Senate, he said it 'creates problems for the longevity of this country.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He introduced legislation to allow separate votes on bills that contain multiple subjects.
    He called for Congress to make available a 'red line' version of legislation so congressmen and the public can easily see what is being added and removed from a bill.
    He said, 'Christians and non-Christians are equally worthy to hold elected office. That's entirely up to the voters.'
