Politician

The Resume

    (January 19, 1973- )
    Born in Austin, Texas
    Based in Northville, Michigan
    Granddaughter of George W Romney
    Niece of Mitt Romney
Chair of Republican National Committee (2017– )
Chair of Michigan Republican Party (2015–2017)

Why she might be annoying:

Prior to being chosen to succeed Reince Priebus, Donald Trump encouraged her to drop the Romney name for her position as RNC chair.
She was instrumental in the setup of a website that targeted James Comey (to the point of calling him a liar; earning a lashing from Jake Tapper).
A Twitter account glitch in 2018 led her to falsely believe that there was shadow-banning going on against Republicans.
Her father – Mitt’s older brother – identified her, then age 14, as a potential politician upon her return from summer camp.
Both of her parents have since remarried.

Why she might not be annoying:

As the middle child of five, she was named for her mother (also a Republican, and effectively making her Ronna, Jr.).
Having begun as a driver for her mother’s 1994 Senate run she came by her political background completely honestly.
Despite the exact same type of background as a voter that normally despises him, Trump had no reservations about endorsing her for the RNC (held by only one other woman).
She considers impeccable morals of less importance than political alignments (a necessity for her field).
She can claim relatives and allies of both red and blue leanings.
