    Appeared in the films ‘Casablanca’ (1942), ‘To Have and Have Not’ (1944), ‘Cloak and Dagger’ (1946), ‘Key Largo’ (1948), ‘Trail of the Yukon’ (1949), ‘Rancho Notorious’ (1952), ‘The Big Heat’ (1953), ‘Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy’ (1955), ‘Watusi’ (1959), ‘Centerfold Girls’ (1974) and ‘Escape to Witch Mountain’ (1975)
    Portrayed the Maharajah in Batman

    His top weight was nearly 350 pounds.
    He was usually cast as the heavy (so to speak).
    He smoked twelve cigars a day.
    His name was misspelled ‘Seymore’ in the credits for ‘Batman.’

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was left-handed.
    Through sixteen months of dieting and swimming, he lost one hundred pounds (1945-46).
    He appeared in three films with Humphrey Bogart and often helped Bogie play practical jokes, such as convincing another actor that Bogart would fire live bullets in ‘Key Largo.’
    He became lifelong friends with director Fritz Lang during the shooting of ‘Cloak and Dagger’ after Lang learned that Seymour spoke German.
    He was named the executor of Lang’s estate.
    He said it was ‘a lot of fun’ portraying villains.
