Why she might be annoying:

    She is allergic to grass.
She is a lapsed vegan who occasionally indulges in bacon.
    Her fans call themselves 'plattenums.'
Her 'Fight Song' was used to advertise CBS' disappointing 'Supergirl' series.
She has a small scar on her right buttock from playing soccer with boys at the Circo Massimo in Rome.
It took her fifteen years to get her first hit in the industry.
Hillary Clinton has taken to playing 'Fight Song' during her Presidential campaign rallies.
She has to go and make everybody jealous by posting selfies on social media, posing with her adorable mixed-breed shelter puppy, Dino.
Google search results for her 'Stand By' song still tend to yield content related to Ben E. King and his own classic 'Stand By Me' song.

Why she might not be annoying:

She started studying classical piano at the age of five.
She started out as part of an Acappella group, in college, the 'Trinitones.'
She is an ambassador for Live Below the Line, which aims to reduce world poverty.
George Clooney and Kelly Clarkson count themselves as fans of hers.
She wrote 'Fight Song' without the intent of having anyone hear it other than herself, meaning for it to be only a self-motivator to try her hardest.
Her 'Fight Song' has become an anthem for people suffering with terminal illness and diseases. It has similarly been adopted by Children's Hospitals across the US as a rallying cry.
Her song attained a universality that she likely didn't foresee. For instance, when she made her debut Good Morning America performance, the studio and Times Square was lit up with sign-holders reading 'I Fight for ___' (cancer survivors, world peace, freedom, etc.).
The rapidly growing popularity her 'Fight Song' was generating caught the attention of Taylor Swift who invited her to make a guest appearance on her '1989 World Tour' to perform. The audience reaction was overwhelming.
She is loyal and appreciative toward her fan base, e.g. writing in an open Facebook post 'To every single person that's ever believed in me, to every mile that I've driven across the country, you made this moment that much sweeter. Proud to have just signed to Columbia Records. Time to spread the love.'
She is refreshingly down-to-earth and humble without trying to come off as 'Mary Sue' while talking to people.
She is famous for regularly visiting hospital patients, often children undergoing chemo therapy, to sing bedside to them as part of Musicians on Call.
When Christine Luckenbaugh, who was fighting an inoperable brain tumor publicly acknowledged 'Fight Song' as a tool to help her through her suffering, Rachel joined Luckenbaugh's friends and family from across the country to surprise her with a performance of the song. Christine died three months later.
